Black Noir from The Boys Makes a Comeback, Unveiling Exciting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Crossover Details

Attention: The following story contains spoilers for Season 3 of The Boys.

Black Noir from The Boys has made a surprising return, providing details about the highly anticipated collaboration between the Prime Video superhero series and Call of Duty.

In a press conference video released by Vought International, the fictional corporation overseeing The Seven, Black Noir (in his characteristic silent manner) confirmed his involvement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Joining him in the game will be Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and Homelander (Anthony Starr).

However, fans of The Boys may recall that Black Noir met his demise at the end of Season 3. The video explains that the press conference was filmed before Black Noir’s secret mission and Starlight’s betrayal of The Seven.

The midseason update for Modern Warfare 2’s Season 4 Reloaded, which includes these characters, will be released on July 12. Each character will have their own Operator Bundle, with Starlight’s releasing first on the 12th, followed by Homelander’s on July 16, and Black Noir’s on July 20. Additional information about the bundles can be found in a Call of Duty blog post. Each bundle will be priced at 2,400 COD Points and will include weapon charms, loading screens, weapon stickers, and emblems.

The collaboration between The Boys and Call of Duty was initially hinted at in a Season 4 trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 that premiered during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest last month.

As for Season 4 of The Boys, updates regarding its release date are still pending. Showrunner Eric Kripke tweeted that the release date depends on the duration of the ongoing Hollywood writers’ strike. However, a panel for the Prime Video spinoff Gen V is scheduled at San Diego Comic-Con, so we can expect news about that show in the coming weeks.
