Australian boxer Jack Brubaker has used a unique description to refer to his opponent, Nikita Tszyu, ahead of their Super Welterweight clash on August 23. Brubaker, who recently defeated Troy O’Meley, considers Tszyu to have a peculiar personality. He jokingly mentioned that he wouldn’t accept an invitation to Tszyu’s house for a barbecue, as he imagines waking up with dogs licking his toes while tied to a chair. However, Brubaker respects Tszyu’s boxing skills and is excited about putting on a great show. Tszyu responded by acknowledging the accuracy of Brubaker’s description and complimenting his unique personality. The banter continued with Tszyu declining to invite Brubaker over for a barbecue, stating that he only brings friends to his house. In addition, Brubaker addressed his doubters and reminded them of his experience in the ring. Despite not fighting for 27 months before his bout with O’Meley, Brubaker believes he is ready to face Tszyu and prove himself to everyone. The main event will also feature super featherweight star Liam Wilson. Subscribe to our newsletter for the latest breaking news and exclusive content from Wide World of Sports.
