The upcoming expansion of the Dragon Ball Super Card Game, titled “Wild Resurgence,” will showcase Perfect Cell and his creations, the Cell Juniors.
Bandai has released some details about the upcoming expansion for the Dragon Ball Super Card Game. The set, officially titled “Zenkai Series – Wild Resurgence,” is the fourth expansion in the Zenkai Series and the 21st main series set for the game. This set introduces the first God Rare card since September 2022’s “Dawn of the Z-Legends.” It will feature themes from the Golden Frieza Saga, the movie “Dead Zone,” and The Cell Games. Today, we have a sneak peek at cards featuring Perfect Cell and the Cell Juniors from Zenkai Series – Wild Resurgence.
The Cell Juniors were formidable opponents created by Cell during the Cell Games. They displayed immense power and proved to be stronger than most other beings on Earth. However, they were defeated by Gohan when he achieved Super Saiyan 2. In the Dragon Ball Super manga, it is revealed that the Cell Juniors are now under the protection of Android 17 and are safeguarding the wildlife on Earth. This shows that even beings designed for destruction can find redemption in the world of Akira Toriyama.
