Hema Malini, also known as the Dream Girl, is making headlines due to her absence at Karan Deol’s wedding celebrations. In a recent interview, the legendary actress opened up about her personal and professional life. She revealed an incident where a filmmaker made her uncomfortable by attempting to remove the pin from her sari.

The filmmaker wanted to shoot a particular scene and asked Hema Malini to remove the pin from her sari. Aware that this would cause the loose end to slide down, Hema Malini expressed her reservations. However, the crew insisted that this was what the director wanted. Hema Malini went on to discuss the lack of effort by filmmakers in making their leads appear appealing, and expressed uncertainty about her future in films.

In addition, Hema Malini disclosed that she was Raj Kapoor’s first choice for the film “Satyam Shivam Sundaram.” Raj Kapoor had approached her, stating that it was a unique film that he wanted her to do. Despite his enthusiasm, Hema Malini’s mother did not approve of the film.

Recently, Hema Malini, along with her daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, sparked a buzz when they were absent at Sunny Deol’s son’s wedding. In response, Dharmendra posted an apology on social media for not personally inviting Hema Malini and their daughters to his grandson’s wedding. The wedding ceremony saw Karan Deol tie the knot with Drisha Acharya.

The actor-turned-politician has collaborated with Dharmendra in multiple films, including the iconic “Seeta Aur Geeta” and “Sholay.” While Dharmendra has upcoming projects like Karan Johar’s “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” Hema Malini was last seen in the 2017 film “Shimla Mirch” alongside Rajkummar Rao and Rakulpreet Singh.
