Increase in Diesel and Kerosene Prices, Marginal Decrease in Gasoline

MANILA – Pump prices of petroleum products are set to have varied movements on Tuesday, July 11, as announced by local oil firms.

In separate announcements, the oil companies stated that diesel prices will increase by 75 centavos per liter, while kerosene prices will rise by 50 centavos per liter.

On the other hand, gasoline will experience a price rollback for the second consecutive week, with a decrease of 20 centavos per liter.

Seaoil and Shell will implement these price adjustments by 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

Last week, the prices of gasoline and diesel both dropped by 70 centavos per liter, while kerosene saw a decrease of 85 centavos per liter.

Fuel prices rolled back by up to P0.85 per liter effective July 4

According to the Department of Energy, these changes resulted in a year-to-date net decrease of P3.70 per liter for diesel, a decrease of P6 per liter for kerosene, and a net increase of P5.85 per liter for gasoline.
