Ranveer Singh dropped one of the biggest surprises of the year today, February 12. He featured in an ad with, wait for it, adult star Johnny Sins to promote his sexual wellness brand. What is more – the ad was a parody of the melodramatic ‘saas-bahu‘ television serial. In the ad, Sins, who is an adult star, played a man who faces sexual health issues and as one character says, ‘His Johnny can’t sin’!
Needless to say, the ad drew a lot of attention and it is being talked about on the Internet. While several people have pointed out that never in their wildest imaginations had they thought of watching this, others called it the ‘biggest crossover’.
The ad was for Bold Care.
Ranveer Singh, co-Founder of Bold Care, shared, “I’m here with sincere intent to use my influence for raising awareness and making a positive impact. The Bold Care campaign is more than talk; it’s a mission that I am deeply connected to, and I am here to bring a change in how we address men’s sexual health, aiming for tangible solutions and millions of lives impacted all across the country.”
One person even felt that Ranveer and Johnny coming together was bigger than Deadpool teaming up with Wolverine.
The ad has been written by Tanmay Bhat, Devaiah Bopanna, and their team.
It has been directed by Ayappa KM. Tanmay and Ayappa have previously worked together on many successful ad campaigns, like the Rahul Dravid x CRED ad.
