Here are the details of the IRCTC Hornbill Festival Tour Package:

Day 1: Upon your arrival at Dimapur Airport or Railway Station, you will be transported to Kohima by road. The journey covers a 68 km route and typically takes around 3 hours. Along the way, you can observe local women selling vegetables and various products in small huts. After a brief stop, you will check into the hotel and spend the night in Kohima. Please note that the roads may be a bit rough.

Day 2: On the second day of the tour, following breakfast, you’ll be transported to Kisama Village, where the Hornbill Festival is held. Throughout the day, you can indulge in local food and beverages, stay in traditional Naga huts, and explore various handicrafts. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Kohima War Memorial and nearby attractions. In the evening, you can partake in the festival’s activities before an overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 3: It includes a trip to Konoma, a charming village nestled in the Nagaland hills, approximately 25 km from Kohima. The journey to Konoma takes about 1.5 hours. In Konoma, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the traditional Naga village culture and traditions, including the opportunity to try your hand at crafting traditional shawls and baskets.

Day 4: Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Dimapur Airport or Railway Station, from where you will catch your flight or train back to your city.
