Joao Felix is closing in a return to Chelsea after spending last season on loan in La Liga with Barcelona.
The Portugal international’s future has been the subject of speculation throughout the summer but it seems the saga is close to a conclusion.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Felix has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, and the Blues are now tying up the final details of the transfer with Atletico Madrid.

Felix had wanted to stay at Barcelona but the Catalans have been unable to do a deal due to their continued financial restrictions.
All of which means that Felix will now enjoy a second spell with the Blues. He spent half a season on loan at Stamford Bridge in 2023, scoring four goals in 16 appearances.
Chelsea have been extremely busy in the transfer market, bringing in a host of players, including Barcelona youngster Marc Guiu.
