Neeraj Pandey is set to digitally premiere his highly anticipated web series, titled The Freelancer, on an OTT platform. The series stars veterane actor Anupam Kher in a brand new role, along with Mohit Raina. Neeraj serves as the showrunner, while Bhav Dhulia takes on the role of director. The Freelancer is scheduled to be released on September 1.
The series is an adaptation of the bestselling book from 2017, A Ticket to Syria, written by Shirish Thorat. The cast also includes Kashmira Pardeshi, Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Navneet Malik, and Gauri Balaji.
Earlier this week, a teaser for the series was released online, providing a glimpse into the show’s thrilling storyline and captivating sets.

The series features a talented ensemble cast, with Mohit Raina playing the role of the freelancer, Anupam Kher as analyst Dr. Khan, Kashmira Pardeshi as Aliya, and other actors portraying unique characters. The series was filmed in multiple international locations, creating a world that remains largely unexplored and unseen. Bhav Dhulia and the entire Friday Storytellers team have put in immense effort to bring this series to life, and I sincerely hope that audiences will love it.”
