Goku’s dominance during the Cell Games is overshadowed by Gohan in Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Wild Resurgence.
Bandai has released the latest expansion of the highly anticipated Dragon Ball Super Card Game. Previously believed to be titled “Zenkai Series – Resurgence,” it has been officially confirmed as “Zenkai Series – Wild Resurgence.” This expansion, which marks the fourth installment in the Zenkai Series and the 21st main series set of Dragon Ball Super Card Game, introduces the first God Rare since September 2022’s “Dawn of the Z-Legends” with Bardock GDR. The set prominently features the Golden Frieza Saga from Dragon Ball Super, the classic Z-era movie Dead Zone featuring Garlic Jr., the Baby Saga from GT, and The Cell Games. Today, we unveil two more powerful cards from Zenkai Series – Wild Resurgence.
Both cards featured in today’s preview from Zenkai Series – Wild Resurgence showcase the formidable Super Saiyan Goku. Although Goku initially seemed to be the key player against Cell during the Cell Games, he eventually acknowledges that his son Gohan is the true savior of the world. This realization occurs during Goku’s training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, where he recognizes Gohan’s potential to surpass him as the main protagonist of the series following Goku’s eventual demise in this arc.
