LONDON — The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, recently underwent successful surgery after being diagnosed with breast cancer, as confirmed by a spokesperson. The diagnosis came after a routine mammogram revealed early-stage breast cancer. Sarah’s prognosis is positive, and she has been discharged from King Edward VII’s Hospital in London to recover at her home in Windsor.

In an upcoming episode of her podcast, “Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah,” Sarah shared her diagnosis. However, the episode was recorded prior to her operation.

Once the subject of intense media scrutiny, Sarah Ferguson, who was previously married to Prince Andrew and is the mother of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, has previously published memoirs and authored numerous children’s books and a historical romance novel for adults.
