Maison Sara Chraibi presented a breathtaking collection of garments with intricate, geometric patterns on the final day of Paris haute couture week.
As the models gracefully walked, the sound of a galloping horse filled the air, capturing the attention of the audience. The carefully crafted garments, adorned with spiky gold heels, graced the gravel runway in a schoolyard on the Left Bank in Paris, inviting viewers to admire them up close.
The initial looks featured long ivory dresses with hooded capes that elegantly flared out at the back, along with oversized sleeves for added drama.
Embroidered embellishments played a pivotal role in the collection, with diamond patterns adorning bustiers and rows of braids framing the alluring open backs.
The Rabat-based designer stated that her label, bearing her name, caters to women for significant occasions, showcasing a perfect blend of “certain rigour” and extravagance.
Having previously worked as an architect, the designer’s attention to detail can be seen in the exquisite elements adorning the backs of the garments.
Reflecting on her collection, Chraibi likened it to a meticulously designed building that demands attention from every angle.
This marked Chraibi’s second appearance as a guest on the prestigious Paris haute couture calendar, which includes renowned luxury brands such as Chanel, Dior, and Giorgio Armani Prive.
Other notable guest presenters this season included Juana Martin from Spain and Imane Ayissi, hailing from Cameroon.
