Queensland Maroons Cult Hero PJ Marsh Donates Debut Jersey to Assist Boy with Health Challenges in State of Origin 2023

On the eve of State of Origin, former Queensland star PJ Marsh has made a remarkable gesture that will surely make players from both teams proud.

PJ Marsh, a talented hooker/half who played over 150 NRL games for the Eels, Warriors, and Broncos in the 2000s, as well as four games for Queensland, is now working as a coal miner in central Queensland.

His most cherished possession is his Maroons jersey, but when he learned of a family friend’s life-threatening illness, he selflessly donated the jersey to charity, raising more than $5000.
