Reportedly titled “Prem Ki Shaadi,” the movie is set to go into production next month. When Salman was presented with the movie’s plot in 2020, he was said to have found it brilliant. Despite the challenges posed by the lockdown, they worked diligently on the screenplay, speeding up the process over the past few months.
Salman is jumping on the bandwagon of family-centered romantic comedies, which have been performing well at the box office, as demonstrated by films like “Zara Hake Zara Bachke” and “Satyaprem Ki Katha.” He is known to enjoy such stories, which is why he promptly gave his approval for “Prem Ki Shaadi.” However, completing the screenplay took some time. The crew began pre-production last month in preparation for a shoot scheduled for August.
“Prem Ki Shaadi” is said to focus on a nuclear family, although the lead actress has not yet been selected by the producers. The first schedule will be filmed on a Mumbai set, with a targeted release date during Diwali of 2024. In addition to this project, Salman has “Tiger 3” lined up, which features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
