Samsung is reportedly working on its next high-end phone series, the Galaxy S24 series. Rumors and expected specifications of the phones have already begun circulating on the internet. In a recent development, the codenames for the handsets in the series have been revealed. Samsung assigns codenames to its high-end smartphones. The codename for this year’s Galaxy S23 series was Diamond, while the Galaxy S22 series had the codename Rainbow. The Galaxy S24 series is expected to debut early next year.

A report by Galaxy Club in collaboration with Sammobile confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is being developed under the codename Muse. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has been spotted with the codename Muse3, suggesting that the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will likely have the codenames Muse1 and Muse2, respectively.

The report also reveals that despite rumors, Samsung will not drop the Plus model for the Galaxy S24 series. The upcoming series is speculated to include three models: Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24. Recently, details about the purported Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera surfaced online, suggesting minor camera upgrades compared to its predecessor. The report indicates that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature the same camera setup as the existing Galaxy S23 Ultra. This includes a 200-megapixel Samsung HP2 primary sensor, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX564 ultra-wide lens, and two other sensors with minor improvements.

According to the report, the phone will also have a 12-megapixel Sony IMX754 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and another 12-megapixel Sony IMX754+ image sensor with 10x optical zoom. Additionally, the phone may include an LED flash and a laser autofocus unit on its back panel.
