Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: The makers of the film shared new stills from Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movie. The carousel post showcases the cast and highlights their adorable moments. It includes individual pictures of all the lead actors – Alia, Ranveer, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. However, a closer look reveals a major plot twist in the pictures of Dharmendra and Shabana. Dharmendra is seen holding a red sweater in one picture, while Jaya Bachchan is dressed in a traditional outfit in another picture. Shabana Azmi also holds a red sweater close to her heart in a separate picture.
Other photos feature Ranveer and Alia posing together as Rocky and Rani, respectively. Jaya Bachchan appears in a blue salwar suit with white hair, playing the role of Dharmendra’s wife and Ranveer’s grandmother. The caption on the post reads, “‘Tease-ing’ you with some exclusive images from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Keep the love coming. In February, Karan Johar announced the new release date of the film on Instagram. He wrote, “They say ‘sabr ka phal meetha hota hai,’ so to increase the mithaas of this incredibly special story – we’re coming with a whole lot of love! Rocky aur Rani ke parivaar ho rahe hai taiyyaar, aur ab dekhiye yeh anokhi kahani of pyaar! #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani in cinemas on 28th July 2023.”

A family drama, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, alongside veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. This marks the first collaboration between Karan Johar and Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. Dharmendra will be portraying a romantic role in the film, where he woos both Jaya and Shabana’s characters.
According to reports, Shabana will be playing the role of Alia’s on-screen grandmother, while Jaya will be Ranveer’s on-screen grandmother.
