The French backline has suffered a major setback with the confirmation that Romain Ntamack will not be able to participate in the Rugby World Cup this year.

During the second half of the 30-27 victory over Scotland, Ntamack tore his anterior cruciate ligament.

Ntamack will be replaced by his understudy Matthieu Jalibert.
