IND vs ENG 4th Test: Battered and bruised England Cricket Team eye revenge on India in IND vs ENG Ranchi Test
India leads the ongoing Test series 2-1. This will prompt the England Cricket Team to make some crucial changes in the playing XI for the IND vs ENG Ranchi Test. The changes which the Three Lions will be willing to undergo will be mainly focused at the bowling department. As many as three changes are expected to take place in the IND vs ENG 4th Test.
While the batting unit for England has been hits and misses, the bowling has been torrid. Apart from the Hyderabad Test, the England bowlers have been brutalised by the Indian batters.
England openers have been rather fair. Be it a fifty or a century, none the less, Zac Crawley and Ben Duckett will retain their spot in the team. The duo have been a good ambassador of England’s aggressive Bazball style of play.
At number 3 comes in Ollie Pope. The vice captain will to regain his previous form yet again as the Three Lions look to level the series. However, huge pressure will be on star batter Joe Root. The Fab 5 batter hasn’t managed a solitary fifty and is going through a rough patch.
Jonny Bairstow comes next at number 5. While questions were raised if Dan Lawrence should replace the hard hitter, but nothing doing. Both Stokes and McCullum have their full confidence on the Yorkshire batter. Ben Stokes, the skipper will bat at number 6. It is highly likely that he can roll out his arms as a part time bowler in the team.
Triple Bowling Change For England
Ben Foakes retain his place as the keeper in the team. As many as three changes are expected in the bowling department. Only Rehan Ahmed retains his spot. It is expected that Shoaib Bashir will come on to replace Tom Hartley. On the other hand, a dual change in the pace department is expected.
