While those who pre-ordered Remnant II have instant access to this class, here’s a guide on how to unlock the Gunslinger archetype for everyone else.
To unlock the Gunslinger archetype, you’ll need to complete most of the biomes in the campaign and then pay a visit to Mudtooth in Ward 13. Be ready for a lot of tales as you listen or skip through them, but make sure to keep asking for more stories until he eventually runs out. It’s important to note that he may temporarily run out of tales and ask for some time to think, so continue with your campaign and return to him later when this occurs. He’ll finally be ready to conclude once you’re in the final stretch of the game.
Once Mudtooth has no more stories to tell, you’ll receive the Worn Cylinder. Take it to Wallace up the stairs in a hut at the docks and exchange the Rusty Cylinder for the Iron Cylinder. Finally, equip the Iron Cylinder to one of your archetype slots to activate the Gunslinger archetype.
