Adelaide midfielder Ben Keays may face consequences after an unusual incident where he forcefully removed Mason Cox’s protective glasses during a chaotic brawl at the MCG.
Despite a strong performance from Keays’ Crows, who put up a commendable fight against the AFL’s top-ranked team, they were unable to maintain their lead in the third quarter, allowing Collingwood to come from behind and secure a 12.10 (82) to 11.14 (80) victory.
In the final quarter, Cox ignited Collingwood’s comeback by scoring two of their five goals and was at the center of a massive brawl after his second goal.
