Epic Games Store Free Games This Week
As of June 15, the Epic Games Store is offering Guacamelee! 2 and Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition for free. These games will be available until June 22 at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET.
Guacamelee! is a 2D action-platformer with a Metroidvania style that draws inspiration from Mexican culture and traditions. In the game, you play as Juan Aguacate, a farmer who discovers the Legendary Luchador mask and embarks on a mission to rescue El Presidente’s Daughter. You can switch between the realms of the living and the dead, learn melee combat techniques, and play with up to three friends.
In the sequel, Guacamelee! 2, Juan Aguacate comes out of retirement to battle new enemies, explore a larger world, and gain new abilities, including the ability to transform into a chicken.
